We have been socialized to use oppression as a life strategy, and we don't even know it. We think life is hard, we burn out, we can’t seem to accomplish our spiritual goals or make the social imapct we want. We think there is something wrong with us; that we arent good enough. So we push ourselves harder, but we fail again and feel more shame. So we push ourselves harder or we give up. This is how oppression has taught to exist: alone, ashamed, and failing. But we are born of Aliveness, which cannot lose. We were born to win. We only lose when we choose oppression as a life strategy.
We fail because oppression places us in opposition to life. We force outcomes and judge ourselves when we fail. We see life as an adversary, not a loving partner. We are life so we see ourselves as a threat too. We see our tiredness as a threat to our success. Our dreams as a threat to our security, and our fear as threat to our progress. We think our aliveness is the problem so we try to be less alive. We can't actually be less alive, so all we accomplish is experiencing less aliveness through tension, repression, and shame. Sadly, as we practice oppression, we become skilled at it. We perfect the art of experiencing less aliveness with oppressive practices like Urgency, Perfectionism, Force, Externalizing, Shaming, Name-Calling- "lazy," "weak," "weird", the cycle of Numbing/Binging, and more.
Over time, using oppression as a strategy has become wired into our nervous system. We cannot stop judging and forcing ourselves, eventhough we want to. We believe we must make ourselves to work harder to accomplish our goals. We force our spiritual practices and we rage against the machine. But in fact, the opposite is true. We make more spiritual progress and greater social impact when we unleash our aliveness and let life help us accomplish our goals. Mother Theresa and Martin Luther King Jr. made an impact because they faithfully followed their point of greatest aliveness. The same is true for Audre Lorde, Rumi, Marsha P. Johnson, and anyone we admire who has made an impact.
I help visionaries and revolutionaries amplify their impact by unleashing their aliveness with coaching, healing, and workshops.
PERSONAL AND INTERGENERATIONAL HEALING
I use two primary modalities to help clients shift into altered states of consciousness to heal personal, collective, and intergenerational trauma and reclaim joy, contentment, and boldness.
REIKI
I am the channeler and sole holder of Black Moonlight Reiki, an evolution of Reiki energy that brings in Truth and Justice energies to balance the current vibration of Reiki as predominantly Love and Light. Black Moonlight Reiki is the highest vibration of darkness energy - the void space - that holds the sweetness of life/death, pleasure, boundaries, and reclamation. We are not embodying love by only embodying light. We embody the highest vibration of love when we courageously become whatever life calls us to be. Sometimes life calls us to darkness.
I also use Crystalline Rainbow Reiki, the powerful essence of crystalized light fractaling into quantum rainbows, that offers a fast track to healing through multidimensionality. Both/And! Queerness! Yay!
HYPNOSIS
Hypnosis is a gentle, relaxing way to heal the root causes of painful beliefs and behaviors. Did you know your beliefs and habits are housed in your subconscious mind, not your conscious mind? That's how we can know we deserve love, yet act like we don't. With hypnosis, we go straight to the subconscious mind to heal beliefs that no longer serve us and reclaim our confidence, power, and joy.
As we heal the trauma of oppression, we show-up grounded in Aliveness - a power that honors all of life. With this power, we become unshakable.
SOMATIC LIBERATION PRACTICE SPACE
I partner with Sacred Paintbrush Arts to provide our exclusive Somatic Liberation Practice Space; Intuitive Painting for Liberation. In this practice we don't paint to create pretty paintings or practice artistic skills, we paint to practice being free.
With this life-altering practice, you build confidence saying “HELL YES” to your aliveness, and "HELL NO" to oppression in a low/no-stakes environment, before being more bold in your work, relationships, finances, etc. With this practice, you will learn through lived-experience how to be a bold ally to yourself and your truth. You will build the capacity to fiercely trust yourself, never abandon yourself, claim your power, and hold that space for others. You will learn to embody liberation in a world of oppression.
Claiming the power of Aliveness is how we heal an oppressive world and attain the liberation we crave.
